About NIMCET MCA NIMCET (National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test) is a nationwide entrance examination organized for entry into the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs at various National Institutes of Technology (NITs) throughout India. The assessment tests candidates on topics such as Mathematics, Analytical Skills & Logical Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, and General English.
Applicants are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD) and must have Mathematics as one of their subjects at the 10+2 or undergraduate level.
